By default, Windows displays the ten most-recent items in all taskbar Jump Lists. If you d prefer a shorter list, follow these steps:
1. Right-click anywhere on the taskbar and select Properties. (Alternately, open the Control Panel and select Taskbar and Start Menu.)
2. When the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears, select the Start Menu tab. 3. Click the Customize button to display the Customize Start Menu dialog box.
4. Select a new number from the Number of Recent Items to Display in Jump Lists list.
5. Click OK when finished.
