Choosing a Sound Scheme  Windows 7 offers a number of built-in sound schemes combinations of  sounds for all appropriate Windows events. You can easily change from  one scheme to another, or spend a bit more time to customize the sounds  within a scheme. Here s what to do:  note  Sound schemes are also saved as part of your overall Windows theme.
1. Open the Control Panel and select Sound.
2. When the Sound dialog box appears, select the Sounds tab.
3. To select a new sound scheme, pull down the Sound Scheme list and  make a selection.
4. To change an individual sound event within a scheme, select it in  the Program Events list; then pull down the Sounds list and make a  new selection. This lets you reassign sounds within a scheme; to  choose a sound from outside the scheme, click the Browse button  and browse to the sound file you want to use.
5. Click the OK button to close the dialog box.  tip  To preview how a sound sounds, select it and then click the Test button.
